The Adaptables, Inc. of Winston Salem, NC assists disabled persons with living life to the fullest despite physical limitations. They were in need of a new website that would engage their 'consumers' (80%), and allow the sharing of business information (20%) . Because we are targeting disabled consumers, the fonts need to be slightly larger than typical, high contrast between the lettering and backgrounds, and images need to have 'Alt' text for screen readers, such as JAWS to read to visually impaired visitors.
Aquest IT felt that it was important that the website for The Adaptables, Inc. be bright and generate enthusiasm among the clients of The Adaptables. We will provide the ability for Blogs to be integrated into the website which allow the consumers to become fully engaged with their peers that are either going through or have adapted to problems that new consumers are likely to deal with. This will allow a community to build around the website, which is the key to a successful website.
The Adaptables are actively updating their site and really using the website to communicate with their consumers.
